Accreditations and LicensureAccreditations & Licensure Proficiency Testing Professional Organizations
Accreditation and licensure programs are designed to improve patient safety, promote a consistently high level of client service and advance the quality of laboratory services. NMS Labs’ licensure and accreditation are your assurance that our laboratory has met or exceeded a certifying agency’s high standards of excellence.
ClinicalClinical testing in support of the diagnosis and treatment of patient health is rigorously challenged on both a federal and state level. In addition, licensure has been a long-standing assurance that a laboratory meets and exceeds the minimum standards of excellence that help ensure patient safety. By voluntarily obtaining third-party accreditations, such as College of American Pathologists–LAP, NMS Labs makes a positive statement about its commitment to quality and safety.
ForensicAdherence to nationally recognized voluntary certifications, such as ABFT and ASCLD-LAB reinforces our commitment to quality. In fact, NMS Labs is the only independent laboratory to obtain dual certification for its forensic and crime laboratories. Rigid standards of excellence and in-depth site inspections provide a high degree of confidence that our forensic data will withstand the rigorous scrutiny of the legal system.
ResearchLaboratory research testing is typically not regulated to the extent of clinical testing. However, NMS Labs conducts all research testing using the same high quality standards as those found in the clinical arena. By voluntarily adhering to these same standards of excellence, we provide the highest degree of confidence in the accuracy and quality of our results.
