Kevin Ballard, M.D., Ph.D.
Director of Research & Development
Dr. Ballard is a Director at NMS Labs and is responsible for Research and Development. He earned a M.D. at the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry and the Canadian Society for Mass Spectrometry and provides peer review for the Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry. Dr. Ballard is a nationally recognized expert on forensic science and has provided courtroom testimony in many high-profile cases, such as New York vs. Michael Swango, California vs. Orenthal James Simpson, New Jersey vs. Josh Pompey, Connecticut vs. Alex Kelley and many others.
